Hoops by Ugland was created and is now operated by sports writer and basketball zealot Devin Ugland.
Devin is based out of Southern California and spends hours upon hours in the gym watching prep basketball and evaluating talent.
Devin is currently the USC men's basketball beat writer for Yahoo! Sports affiliate Rivals.com and previously spent years in the newspaper business covering all sorts of high school sports, spending time with the Orange County Register, The Daily Pilot and the Long Beach Press-Telegram.
Hoops by Ugland will provide readers with recaps of each game and event that Devin attends, covering standout players from each event. He also does video breakdowns and scouting of players that will also appear on the website.
