HER SKILLS SUMMIT
The second annual Hoops By Ugland HER Skills Summit is set for Sunday, August 16th in the brand new Griffin Center on the campus of Los Alamitos high school. This is a one day event that runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is open to girls high school prospects from the classes of 2027-2030. The HER Skills Summit is a premier, all-girls skill development and competitive game camp. The first half of the camp is focused on highly-detailed stations which are run by some of the top trainers and coaches in Southern California. The campers will then be divided into teams and play competitive games for the remainder of the camp. Each camper will play at least two games. Last year's inaugural event drew more than 65 girls prospects from Southern California.
Past girls participants include: Te-Hina Paopao (South Carolina/2025 WNBA Draft 1st Round pick), Charis Rainey (Windward/#20-ranked National Prospect), Cayla Murray (Aquinas/National C/O 2030 Prospect), Amiah Lewis (Mater Dei/Southern Utah-commit), Kamdyn Klamberg (All-CIF Open Division selection), Angelina Habis (Princeton-commit), Alexie Werhle (Windward/7 Division 1 offers); Kennedy Wood (All-CIF Division 4), Amirah Muhammad (Lake Forrest College), Bella Medina (Vanguard University)
The cost of the camp is $100. Individualized player evaluations can be added for an extra $25. There will be no parking fee. Campers are provided lunch and a Hoops By Ugland T-Shirt.
