Taft makes first appearance in HoopsByUgland SoCal Top 20 rankings

Tournament season is in full swing for high school basketball teams and the one that took place at Beverly Hills High last week was the one that provided the most movement in the updated HoopsByUgland.com SoCal Top 20 rankings.

Woodland Hills Taft took home the Beverly Hills Tournament championship with a 20-point win over Los Angeles Washington Prep behind the play of sophomore guard Kihei Clark. The Toreadors make their first appearance in the SoCal top 20 at No. 15 as a result of their big week.

Orange Lutheran, which went 3-1 at Beverly Hills, dropped five spots, from No. 11 to No. 16, after losing to Washington Prep on a last second 3-pointer.

Cantwell-Sacred Heart dropped three spots, from No. 17 to No. 20, after losing an opening round game at Beverly Hills to Woodland Hills El Camino Real.
